My wife and I were recommended to Lightheart through our venue, Pepper’s Creek, in the Hunter Valley. We were pleasantly surprised to find their office was just around the corner from us in Petersham. We loved their natural portrait style, and their editing tones. Very professional from the get-go. They went through all the different photo styles and select the photographer best suited for your selected style. The photographers (we had Frank and Lui) are always alert, looking for angles, sunsets, reflections to make sure every memory is captured. They also worked very well with our videographers from another company.

We found Lightheart at a wedding expo 2 years ago. We had our wedding postponed due to Covid last year and they were very accommodating with the changes. Jason was our photographer for both our pre-wedding photos and wedding day photos – he is very easy going and professional. Some aspects of LightHeart were great and others we felt were lacking. All staff are very lovely and a pleasure to work with. Especially on the day, our photographer and two videographers did an amazing job, we loved their professional yet fun style. Really enjoyed our photography and video with them. The photos that we received back were amazing and we couldn’t have asked for better. The video aspects on the other hand left something to be desired. We felt they left out some key parts. Guests were being entertained in a lovely rustic farm building with a live musician, lawn games, none of which we saw in any videos (there was a second videographer who was not with us for our photos and could have captured this). Video editing seemed to use similar shots over and over resulting in an odd feel.

Our videographers worked quite seamlessly with our photographer and made sure the photographers got enough time to get all the shots we wanted as well. We got a package of 14 hours with them! Light heart sent through their video which turned out really well!
